Volunteers and Staff Team Up to Improve Brundidge Country Club Greens

A True Club Member shines when they see the need and take it upon themselves to make our club better for all members.

Several Club members recently took time out of their busy schedules to volunteer with Greens Superintendent Calvin Buzzeman and his staff to finish up some long overdue greens work on multiple holes around the course. Hole #2’s green was lengthened in the front portion. Holes #1, #3, #5, #6, and #8 also had greens repaired.

Cutting out damaged turf, preparing the area and installing fresh sod, building the banks back up and ensuring proper shape were all part of the project.

This project is just one more example of how Brundidge Country Club spends their money and time making our golf course the best it can be. Thank you to all of the members and leadership that strive to make our club the best in the area.

We appreciate everyones time, effort, equipment and knowledge that was given to help complete this project.

As always, there will be some growing pains as the new grass matures and melds with the existing grass around it. Please keep up the good work and thank you for helping to make this project a success.
